Introduction
Adapalene gel should generally be protected from light. During use, avoid intense exposure to sunlight and artificial light. It is notably effective in treating papules, folliculitis, or pustules—commonly caused by *Staphylococcus aureus* infection, but potentially also resulting from follicular injury, irritation, or stasis. The frequency of application should be reduced under the guidance of a physician.

Adapalene gel should generally be protected from light exposure. Prolonged exposure to intense light may reduce its therapeutic efficacy and potentially cause other adverse reactions.

During use, adapalene gel should be kept away from strong sunlight and artificial lighting. It is a commonly used topical retinoid in clinical practice that promotes keratolysis and inhibits the proliferation of *Propionibacterium acnes*. It demonstrates significant efficacy in treating papules, folliculitis, and pustules. Prior to bedtime, the affected area should be thoroughly cleansed and allowed to dry completely before applying a thin layer of the gel. Some patients may experience adverse reactions following application—such as erythema, dryness, or pruritus—which typically resolve gradually over time. Folliculitis is an inflammatory skin disorder primarily affecting hair follicles; it most commonly results from *Staphylococcus aureus* infection but may also arise from follicular trauma, irritation, or stasis, all of which increase susceptibility to bacterial infection.

Specific dosage adjustments—including reducing frequency of application—should be made only under the guidance of a physician to avoid prolonged use, which may lead to drug resistance.
