Can neck wrinkles be permanently eliminated?
Neck wrinkles generally cannot be permanently eliminated.
Neck wrinkles are a relatively common phenomenon during human growth and development. When neck wrinkles appear, cosmetic procedures such as hyaluronic acid injections, laser therapy, thread lifting, or facelift surgery can be used to improve their appearance. However, the duration of results varies among these treatments: hyaluronic acid typically lasts about 1–2 years, whereas a facelift offers longer-lasting results—approximately 5–10 years. Currently, no treatment can permanently remove neck wrinkles. Once the effects fade, however, cosmetic interventions can be repeated to address the wrinkles again.
In daily life, applying a collagen-containing moisturizing cream to the neck may help improve the appearance of neck wrinkles. If surgical intervention is chosen to address neck concerns, patients should ensure adequate rest and avoid excessive fatigue postoperatively. Additionally, proper local skin care is essential in the immediate postoperative period, including avoiding contact with water on the treated area for a short time.
