In general, the dietary requirements for breast tumor patients are not significantly different from those of healthy individuals—except for foods rich in estrogen, there are few strict dietary restrictions. Examples include bird’s nest, royal jelly, sheep placental extract, and soy-based products such as soy milk. Since medications or supplements containing confirmed estrogenic compounds must be avoided, extra caution is warranted. Breast tumor patients may appropriately consume fresh fruits and vegetables—for instance, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers—as well as fruits like apples, bananas, and peaches. Additionally, carbohydrate-rich foods—including noodles, rice, and millet porridge—are suitable choices.

Breast tumors can be either malignant or benign. The most common benign tumor is fibroadenoma, a firm, painless mass resulting from estrogen-stimulated proliferation of fibrous tissue surrounding the mammary lobules. The most prevalent malignant breast tumor is breast cancer, which is closely associated with elevated estrogen levels. Therefore, consuming foods, medications, or health supplements containing estrogen is generally discouraged in the management of breast tumors, as their development may be strongly linked to estrogen levels.
