Introduction
Women can perform Kegel exercises after childbirth. By regularly contracting and lifting the anal sphincter, these exercises help strengthen certain pelvic floor muscles, thereby tightening the vagina. To begin, lie supine on a bed with knees bent. Then, contract the anal sphincter and lift it upward, holding for 5 seconds before relaxing. Repeat this contraction-relaxation cycle approximately 10–15 times per set, and perform 3–5 sets daily.

After childbirth, women may experience pelvic floor laxity and vaginal laxity. Performing Kegel exercises can help tighten the vagina. Kegel exercises involve rhythmic contraction and lifting of the anal sphincter to engage specific pelvic floor muscles, thereby enhancing vaginal tightness. The specific technique is as follows:

1. Lie supine on a firm bed or mat with knees bent and legs together.

2. Hold your breath and contract the anal sphincter upward—as if trying to hold back a bowel movement—while simultaneously tightening the pelvic floor muscles for 5 seconds.

3. Relax completely, then repeat the contraction-relaxation cycle approximately 10–15 times per set. Perform 3–5 sets daily to achieve vaginal tightening effects.
