I have a cold and feel chilled all over—how can I dispel the cold?
Chills throughout the body in patients with the common cold are an early sign of fever and are often accompanied by symptoms such as shivering, nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, dizziness, and headache. Generalized chills can typically be alleviated through the following measures:

1. For colds caused by wind-cold invasion, consider taking Wind-Cold Common Cold Granules or drinking ginger tea to dispel cold.
2. Monitor body temperature regularly. If fever develops—specifically when temperature exceeds 38.5°C—oral administration of ibuprofen or acetaminophen is recommended for antipyresis. For temperatures below 38.5°C, increase fluid intake, use tepid sponging, or take Bupleurum Oral Liquid to reduce fever and alleviate chills.
3. Wear additional clothing and maintain warmth.
