How to Use a Self-Testing COVID-19 Test Kit
When nucleic acid testing is required, you may first perform a self-test using a SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test kit. Results are typically available within approximately one minute—convenient and efficient. The specific procedure is as follows:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with running water twice before handling the self-test kit.
2. Clean both nasal passages gently using a clean, moist cotton swab. Avoid applying excessive pressure to prevent mucosal injury.

3. Remove the nasal swab from its packaging, taking care not to touch the cotton tip to avoid contamination.
4. Tilt your head slightly backward. Insert the swab along the nasal passage to a depth of 2–4 cm, then rotate it four full turns. Repeat the same procedure in the other nostril.
5. Place the swab into the provided sample tube, break off the cotton tip at the designated notch, and let it stand for one minute. Then, unscrew the cap and add four drops of the sample solution into the tube.
6. Wait 10–15 minutes before reading the result: if both the C (control) and T (test) lines appear purple-red, the result is positive; if only the C line appears purple-red, the result is negative.
