How to cleanse the lungs after inhaling harmful gases
When harmful gases are accidentally inhaled, immediate intervention is required to cleanse the lungs and prevent disease progression.
Specific measures include the following:
1. Remove from the exposure environment: Assist the patient in immediately relocating to a well-ventilated, safe area and resting in a supine position. If moving outdoors is impractical (e.g., indoors), promptly open windows for ventilation and relocate the patient closer to the airflow.

2. Decontaminate the skin: In a safe environment, remove any outer clothing potentially contaminated by the harmful gas. Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap under running water.
3. Maintain warmth: Cover the patient with clean clothing to prevent exposure and hypothermia.
4. Administer oxygen: If hypoxia develops following inhalation of harmful gases, prompt hyperbaric oxygen therapy should be initiated while ensuring airway patency.
5. Administer antidotes: If signs of poisoning occur after inhalation, administer oral antidotes or intravenous fluids as prescribed by a physician.
