Introduction
Gonococcal pharyngitis typically presents as acute pharyngitis or acute tonsillitis, occasionally accompanied by fever and cervical lymphadenopathy. The vast majority of gonococcal pharyngitis cases result from poor oral hygiene, while a minority are caused by contact with the patient’s personal hygiene items (e.g., toothbrushes, towels). Common symptoms include dryness and discomfort in the throat, sore throat or a burning sensation, and, in some cases, dysphagia.

淋菌性咽炎的Symptoms
淋菌性咽炎通常表现为急性咽炎或急性扁桃体炎，偶尔伴有发热和颈部淋巴结肿大。绝大多数淋菌性咽炎是由口腔引起的，少数淋菌性咽炎是由接触Patient的洗漱用品引起的。一般Symptoms是喉咙干燥不适、喉咙痛或烧灼感，有些人吞咽困难。也就是说，吞咽时疼痛明显加剧。此外，通过Examination可以看到咽部黏膜充血和扁桃体肿胀。
淋菌性咽炎的主要临床表现为咽干不适、咽痛、咽部烧灼感、吞咽痛、吞咽困难，偶尔伴有发热和颈部淋巴结肿大。在Examination过程中，可以看到咽粘膜充血和扁桃体肿大。大多数Patient都有口腔不卫生的经历，这是由淋球菌侵入口腔黏膜引起的。临床上常与急性咽炎和急性扁桃体炎相混淆。Patient往往有意无意地未能提供病史，从而影响Diagnosis。
