1. Obesity

Consistently consuming excessive amounts of high-protein foods may result in surplus dietary protein being converted by the liver into glycogen for storage and subsequently transformed into fat, thereby contributing to weight gain and obesity.

2. Indigestion

Frequent intake of high-protein foods often reduces normal carbohydrate consumption, potentially causing indigestion and associated symptoms such as decreased appetite, abdominal distension, and diarrhea. Moreover, metabolic waste products generated during protein digestion and absorption—when not promptly eliminated from the body—may exert adverse effects on health.

3. Increased Renal Burden
