What are the causes of nerve ending damage?
Damage to nerve endings may be caused by factors such as vitamin deficiency, bacterial or viral infections, and hyperlipidemia.
1. Vitamin deficiency
When picky eating or selective dietary habits lead to inadequate nutrient intake and deficiencies in micronutrients such as the B-complex vitamins, malnutrition may result in pathological damage to nerves, causing injury to nerve endings. This condition is often accompanied by muscle weakness, muscle atrophy, dry and rough skin.
2. Bacterial or viral infection
If the body is affected by bacterial or viral infections, inflammation may develop. If not promptly controlled, the inflammation may spread and eventually affect nerve endings, leading to their damage.
3. Hyperlipidemia
If a person regularly consumes high-fat, greasy foods over a long period, resulting in hyperlipidemia, it may cause pathological changes in the small blood vessels of peripheral circulation regions, thereby leading to damage in nerve endings.
