Introduction
Periorbital fine lines are often crow's feet or lower eyelid wrinkles. They are commonly caused by facial expressions, especially smiling or laughing, when local muscle contractions create grooves of varying depth on the skin. When no lines are visible at rest, they are referred to as dynamic lines. However, with repeated facial expressions, fine wrinkles may persist even when the face is at rest—these are known as static lines.

Fine lines around the eyes are often crow's feet or wrinkles under the lower eyelids. They are commonly caused by facial expressions, especially smiling or laughing, when local muscle contractions create creases of varying depth on the skin. When these lines disappear at rest, they are known as dynamic lines. However, if facial expressions are repeated frequently, fine wrinkles may remain even without expression—these are called static lines.

How to Remove Fine Lines Around the Eyes

Dynamic wrinkles are primarily treated with botulinum toxin injections. Using botulinum toxin alone may only have a limited effect on static lines. If necessary, radiofrequency skin tightening around the face and eyes can be used, which yields good results. Some people also opt for fractional laser therapy to treat periorbital fine lines.

Fine lines around the eyes are usually caused by skin aging and can therefore be reduced by preventing aging. Specific prevention and treatment methods include: maintaining regular diet and sleep habits, avoiding late nights and reducing intake of greasy and spicy foods, limiting alcohol consumption, eating more vegetables and fruits, protecting against intense light exposure, thoroughly cleansing the face daily, and using hydrating and moisturizing cosmetics. For more severe eye-area wrinkles, medical aesthetic treatments such as local injections of botulinum toxin or hyaluronic acid can quickly reduce fine lines and restore a youthful appearance.

It is recommended to choose an appropriate treatment plan based on individual circumstances, under the guidance of a specialist physician.
