Introduction
Abdominal pain without diarrhea may be caused by conditions such as intestinal obstruction or constipation-predominant functional bowel disorders. Intestinal spasms, possibly due to a significant increase in hormones secreted by the intestines and enhanced gastric motility, can lead to abdominal pain without diarrhea. Poor hygiene in diet, leading to viral or bacterial infection of the intestine, may also cause abdominal pain without diarrhea.

Abdominal pain without diarrhea may be caused by conditions such as intestinal obstruction, constipation-predominant bowel dysfunction, intestinal spasms, or intestinal infections.

1. Intestinal Obstruction

When intestinal obstruction occurs, large amounts of gas or intestinal contents accumulate above the blockage and cannot pass through, leading to intestinal distension and resulting in neuropathic pain, which causes abdominal pain without diarrhea.

2. Constipation-Predominant Bowel Dysfunction

If a patient has poor dietary habits, irregular lifestyle, or remains in a prolonged state of anxiety or depression, abnormal nerve function may lead to constipation-predominant bowel dysfunction, triggering the aforementioned symptoms.

3. Intestinal Spasms

With intestinal spasms, excessive secretion of intestinal hormones may occur, increasing gastrointestinal motility and causing abdominal pain without accompanying diarrhea.

4. Intestinal Infection

Poor food hygiene that leads to viral or bacterial infection of the intestines may also result in abdominal pain without diarrhea.
