Can enoki mushrooms and seafood mushrooms be eaten together?

Enoki mushrooms, scientifically known as Flammulina velutipes, are a type of fungus that typically promote metabolism and enhance immune function. Seafood mushrooms, also known as nameko or Hypsizygus tessellatus, are rich in nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, and cellulose, and usually aid digestion and provide energy. They are also low in calories and fat, helping to boost metabolism and improve skin condition. Consuming enoki and seafood mushrooms together does not cause adverse interactions; however, overconsumption should be avoided to prevent bodily discomfort.
Enoki mushrooms are considered a cold-natured food. Excessive intake may increase internal coldness and lead to spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, so individuals with poor gastrointestinal function or those who are constitutionally cold should limit their consumption. Additionally, enoki mushrooms contain large amounts of coarse fiber, and eating too much can burden the digestive system, leading to indigestion, diarrhea, vomiting, and other symptoms. In severe cases, it may even result in mushroom poisoning. It is recommended to thoroughly cook enoki mushrooms in boiling water before eating to avoid poisoning. When consuming seafood mushrooms, avoid drinking beer or red wine simultaneously, as this may interfere with nutrient absorption from the mushrooms.
