Should you eat carbohydrates at night during a fat-loss phase?
Carbohydrates refer to carbohydrate-rich foods such as rice and noodles. During fat loss periods, it's not recommended to consume large amounts of carbohydrates at night; only small portions should be eaten.
Since dietary intake needs to be controlled during fat loss, and carbohydrates contain a certain amount of calories, consuming them in excess—especially at night—may lead to weight gain or indigestion. It's advisable to minimize carbohydrate intake in the evening, replacing staple foods with low-calorie, low-fat alternatives such as low-sugar fruits and green vegetables. Additionally, after 8 p.m., it's best to avoid eating altogether, as late-night meals may cause food stagnation, indigestion, and increase the likelihood of weight gain.
In daily life, engaging in moderate exercise such as jump rope, swimming, or running can promote metabolism and support fat loss. Maintain a light diet, avoiding overly greasy foods, and consume more fresh fruits and vegetables to supply essential nutrients. Also, maintain healthy sleep habits and avoid staying up late, as sleep deprivation can disrupt hormonal balance and increase the risk of obesity.
