Introduction
Feeling nauseous and having no appetite in the morning may be caused by poor diet leading to prolonged accumulation of food in the gastrointestinal tract, or by intestinal flora imbalance. If you have gastrointestinal dysfunction or indigestion, this may also cause morning nausea and loss of appetite. Additionally, if you suffer from gastritis, food may not move quickly into the intestines and instead accumulate in the stomach, increasing gastric pressure and potentially causing the aforementioned symptoms.

Feeling nauseous and having no appetite in the morning may be caused by poor diet, indigestion, gastritis, or other factors.

1. Poor Diet

If one consumes excessively greasy or hard-to-digest foods during the previous evening meal, or accidentally eats spoiled food, it may lead to prolonged accumulation of food in the gastrointestinal tract or cause intestinal flora imbalance, resulting in nausea and loss of appetite in the morning.

2. Indigestion

Poor eating habits such as frequent alcohol consumption, irregular meals, or binge eating can disrupt gastrointestinal function and lead to indigestion, which may also cause nausea and reduced appetite in the morning.

3. Gastritis

If an individual has gastritis, they may experience morning nausea and lack of appetite. This is primarily due to inflammation interfering with the normal function of the pylorus. When food reaches the pylorus, it may remain closed, preventing food from moving promptly into the intestines. This causes food to accumulate in the stomach, increasing gastric pressure and leading to discomfort.
