How to treat severe itching all over the body from bedbug bites

Itching all over the body after bedbug bites is mostly due to an allergic reaction. It is advisable to seek medical treatment at a hospital as soon as possible and, under a doctor's guidance, apply calamine lotion externally. The specific procedure is as follows:

1. First, the patient should clean the skin and keep it dry.

2. Shake the calamine lotion well before use, then dip a cotton swab into an appropriate amount of the solution.

3. Apply evenly to the affected area 2–3 times daily. There is no need to wash off the lotion after application.

During application, avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and nose. If a burning sensation, redness, or swelling occurs at the application site, discontinue use immediately and wash off the medication from the affected area.
