Introduction
First, thoroughly clean and dry the face. Apply a cream, lotion, or moisturizer around the eye area. Using your fingertip, massage from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eye in one direction for about 50 strokes. Finally, place the corner of a gua sha tool at a 30–45 degree angle against the inner edge of the lower eye socket and glide it outward toward the temple. Begin with gentle pressure and gradually increase as tolerated.

Frequently staying up late often leads to eye fatigue, while gua sha can improve blood circulation. Under-eye bags are associated with poor circulation around the eyes. Proper gua sha techniques can help reduce under-eye bags. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Cleansing: Wash your face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.

2. Application: Apply an appropriate amount of facial gua sha oil evenly around the eye area. If gua sha oil is not available, you may substitute it with your regular eye cream, toner, or other moisturizing skincare products.

3. Pressing: Using your fingertip or the end of a gua sha tool, start at the inner corner of the lower eyelid where puffiness is more noticeable, and gently massage in a single direction toward the outer corner of the eye for about 50 repetitions.

4. Gua Sha: Place one corner of the gua sha tool at a 30–45 degree angle against the inner edge of the lower eye socket. Gently and slowly scrape outward toward the temple area 15–20 times. After completing one side, switch to the other side and repeat for another 15–20 strokes.

Note: This procedure should be performed under the guidance of a professional.
