How to reduce swelling for nasal edema and rhinitis
Nasal edema due to rhinitis may be caused by upper respiratory tract infections. To reduce swelling caused by rhinitis, the following nebulization method can be used:
1. Nebulization preparation: Place the medication into the nebulizer cup, then position it in front of the patient who will undergo nebulization.

2. Performing nebulization: Patients should usually sit upright during the procedure, as this allows the inhaled medication to settle more effectively in the trachea and bronchi, reaching the target organs for optimal effect. If the patient's condition is too severe to sit, a lying position may be used instead. Additionally, during nebulization, patients should inhale deeply, using an inhalation technique similar to smoking.
3. Completing nebulization: After finishing the nebulization treatment, patients should wash their face and rinse their mouth thoroughly, including deep gargling. Furthermore, the nebulization equipment should be cleaned and disinfected properly.
