Introduction
Fever refers to an elevated body temperature. Hemophagocytosis may present with recurrent fever, typically caused by bacterial or viral infections that trigger the release of hemophagocytic cells within the body. These cells abnormally engulf normal human cells. Once this condition develops, it impairs the patient's normal cellular immunity, leading to symptoms such as generalized weakness and high fever.

Fever refers to an elevated body temperature, and hemophagocytic syndrome may present with recurrent episodes of fever.

Hemophagocytic syndrome, also known as a malignant cellular disorder caused by the immune system, generally occurs when the body is infected with bacteria or viruses, triggering the release of abnormal hemophagocytic cells that engulf normal human cells. Once this disease develops, it compromises the patient's normal cellular immunity, leading to symptoms such as generalized weakness and high fever. If patients do not receive timely treatment, the fever may persist and recur repeatedly. Additionally, in some patients, there may be a progressive decrease in all blood cell lines, along with declining levels of red blood cells and platelets. The condition can also damage the liver, causing elevated transaminase levels, and lead to increased bilirubin and ferritin levels in the body.

Therefore, if hemophagocytic syndrome occurs in daily life, patients need to seek prompt medical treatment.
