Introduction
The neutrophil percentage of 75.5% is abnormal. The normal range for neutrophil percentage in adults is 50–70%, and in children under three years old it is 20–40%. A value above the normal range is considered abnormal. This may be due to physiological factors, acute suppurative bacterial infection, severe tissue injury, or conditions such as polycythemia vera or acute hemolytic anemia.

A neutrophil ratio of 75.5% is usually abnormal.

Under normal circumstances, the reference range for adult neutrophil ratio is 50%-70%, while in children under three years old, the normal neutrophil percentage ranges from 20%-40%. A neutrophil ratio of 75.5% exceeds the normal range and indicates an abnormal condition. This may be caused by physiological factors such as emotional excitement, intense physical exercise, or conditions in women such as pregnancy, childbirth, or ovulation. An elevated neutrophil ratio can also result from acute pyogenic bacterial infections, severe tissue injury, extensive burns, major surgery, or diseases such as polycythemia vera, acute hemolytic anemia, multiple myeloma, liver cancer, or lung cancer.

If testing reveals an increased neutrophil ratio, it is recommended to visit a hospital for further evaluation of potential underlying conditions. Identifying the specific cause will help guide appropriate and standardized treatment.
