Introduction
Whether a fracture of the right nasal bone constitutes a minor injury generally depends on the severity of the fracture. Typically, a single-segment unilateral nasal bone fracture is considered a minor injury, whereas multiple-segment unilateral fractures, bilateral nasal bone fractures, or multiple-segment bilateral fractures fall within the category of light injuries. A CT scan with three-dimensional reconstruction of the nasal region is required to confirm the diagnosis. The condition is relatively mild.

Whether a fracture of the right nasal bone constitutes a minor injury generally depends on the severity of the fracture.

A fracture on the right side of the nasal bone may result from direct trauma to the nose or indirect violence, causing significant pain in the affected area, along with local swelling, crepitus (crackling sensation), and possible depression at the fracture site.

Typically, a single-segment fracture on one side is considered a minor injury. However, multiple-segment fractures on one side, bilateral nasal bone fractures, or multiple-segment bilateral fractures fall within the category of轻伤 (light injuries). A definitive diagnosis requires imaging examinations such as CT scans and three-dimensional reconstruction. If the condition is mild, it can be classified accordingly. Comminuted fractures, however, do not qualify as minor injuries. In cases of isolated right nasal bone fracture that does not affect appearance, does not impair normal respiratory function, and involves no displacement or collapse, treatment under medical guidance may include blood-activating and stasis-resolving medications such as Jiegu Qili Tablets, Jiegu Xujin Tablets, or Jingboning Liniment. For more severe symptoms, surgical intervention may be necessary to correct nasal deformities and restore nasal airway function.

Patients are advised to seek timely medical evaluation to determine the exact cause and receive targeted treatment. Additionally, they should maintain a healthy diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid spicy, greasy, stimulating, and high-sugar foods.
