Introduction
After two months, conjunctivitis still hasn't improved. Artificial tears or ganciclovir eye drops may be used locally, and medications such as amoxicillin capsules or amoxicillin clavulanate potassium tablets may also be taken. If caused by allergic conjunctivitis, olopatadine hydrochloride eye drops or emedastine difumarate eye drops can be used. In addition, corrective surgery for eyelid entropion may also be considered.

Conjunctivitis that has not improved after two months can generally be managed through local medication, oral drugs, surgical treatment, and other methods.

1. Local medication: For persistent conjunctivitis lasting two months, artificial tears such as polyvinyl alcohol eye drops or sodium hyaluronate eye drops may be applied locally under medical guidance. Antiviral medications like ganciclovir eye drops or acyclovir eye drops can also be used for treatment.

2. Oral medication: In cases of prolonged conjunctivitis, patients may use topical treatments along with oral antibiotics prescribed by a doctor, such as amoxicillin capsules or amoxicillin-clavulanate potassium tablets. If the condition is due to allergic conjunctivitis, antiallergic medications such as olopatadine hydrochloride eye drops or epinastine fumarate eye drops may be used as directed by a physician.

3. Surgical treatment: If conjunctivitis persists for two months and leads to eyelid scarring from trachoma, surgical intervention such as eyelid entropion correction surgery may be recommended based on a doctor's advice.

In addition, other approaches such as desensitization therapy or isolation measures may also help manage persistent conjunctivitis. It is important to follow medical advice for appropriate treatment.
