Introduction
1. It is recommended to first wash your hands and clean both nasal passages. 2. Insert the nasal swab 1–1.5 cm into each nostril, rotate it four times, applying slight resistance, and repeat the procedure in the other nostril. 3. Place the swab into the test tube, rotate for 30 seconds, squeeze the swab against the tube wall five times, securely close the tube, and add four drops of the sample solution into the test kit. 4. Wait 15–30 minutes to observe the results.

COVID-19 test kits refer to SARS-CoV-2 antigen tests. When it is inconvenient to go out for nucleic acid testing, you may choose to perform a self-test using a SARS-CoV-2 antigen test. The specific instructions are as follows:

  1. It is recommended to wash your hands first. Sit or lie in a comfortable semi-reclining position. Use a disposable cotton swab dipped in physiological saline to gently rotate and clean the inside of each nostril.

  2. Remove the nasal swab, avoiding touching the cotton tip with your hands to prevent contamination. Gently tilt your head backward, insert the swab 1–1.5 cm into one nostril, rotate it four times, and stop when slight resistance is felt. Repeat the same procedure in the other nostril.

  3. Place the swab into the test tube, rotate for 30 seconds, squeeze the tube five times, then securely close the cap. Add four drops of the sample solution into the test kit.

  4. Wait 15–30 minutes before reading the result. If both the C and T lines appear red-purple, the result is positive. If only the C line appears red-purple, the result is negative.
