Introduction
The C and T on an early pregnancy test strip represent two detection areas. The C area is the reference line, while the T area is the test line. The C area is the blank region on the side where you hold the strip, and the T area is the blank region on the side that is immersed in urine. If red lines appear in both the C and T areas, the result is positive, indicating a possible pregnancy. However, if there is no red line in the C area but a red line appears in the T area, the result is negative.

There are two testing areas on a pregnancy test strip: C and T. The C area is the control line, while the T area is the test line. The C area is located on the side you hold, and the T area is on the end that absorbs urine. Specific operating steps are as follows:

1. First, collect urine in a clean container, preferably first-morning urine.

2. Read the instructions for using the pregnancy test strip to ensure it is within its expiration date. Then disinfect your hands and gently open the test packaging.

3. Insert the end of the test strip with the arrow vertically into the container holding the urine, leaving it in place until the liquid rises to the viewing window, then remove it. Place the test strip flat on a surface and wait 3 to 5 minutes to read the result.

4. Finally, if both the C and T areas display red lines, the result is positive, indicating possible pregnancy. However, if there is no red line in the C area but one red line appears in the T area, the result is negative, suggesting no pregnancy.

Women are advised to visit a reputable hospital promptly for confirmation through blood HCG tests, B-mode ultrasound examinations, and other relevant procedures to determine whether they are pregnant.
