How to warm the uterus and support pregnancy
Warming the uterus to support pregnancy can be achieved through methods such as heat application, moxibustion, and dietary adjustments. The specific procedures are as follows:
1. First, lie flat on the bed and uncover the lower abdomen by loosening clothing.
2. Soak a clean towel in hot water at a temperature of 40–50°C, wring out excess water, and apply it as a warm compress to the abdominal skin.
3. Under medical guidance, locate the Guanyuan acupoint, which is situated three cun (approximately four finger-widths) below the navel. Use a moxa stick to perform moxibustion on this point, holding the stick about one inch away from the skin. The sensation should be comfortably warm. Continue until the skin becomes slightly reddened, typically for about 5–10 minutes.
4. Before bedtime, drink a cup of brown sugar ginger tea to help warm the uterus.
