Introduction
In general, patients undergoing painless curettage surgery do not need to be hospitalized. Before the procedure, patients should undergo tests including complete blood count, blood type, four coagulation parameters, eight-item viral screening, electrocardiogram (ECG), and color ultrasound. Once these meet the surgical requirements, the operation—lasting approximately half an hour—can proceed. Patients need to be observed for 2–4 hours after the surgery. They should rest in bed and maintain a regular sleep schedule, going to bed early and rising early.

Medically, painless curettage refers to a painless dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure. After undergoing this surgery, patients typically do not require hospitalization, so there is no need for excessive concern.

Painless D&C is a type of curettage procedure that uses anesthesia to eliminate pain during the operation. It is primarily used to remove residual tissue remaining in the uterine cavity after an incomplete abortion, thereby promoting uterine recovery and reducing the risks of bleeding and infection. In most cases, patients do not need to be hospitalized for this procedure. Prior to surgery, patients undergo tests including complete blood count, blood type, coagulation profile (four items), infectious disease screening (eight items), electrocardiogram (ECG), and color Doppler ultrasound. Once cleared for surgery, the procedure itself lasts approximately 30 minutes, and patients are generally observed for 2–4 hours afterward before being discharged.

Patients should rest in bed, maintain regular sleep habits by going to bed early and waking up early, and avoid overexertion or strenuous physical activity. A light, healthy diet with balanced nutritional intake is recommended.
