Why can't Fule tablets be taken for a long period?
Long-term use of Fule tablets may lead to adverse symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. This is because Fule tablets are a traditional Chinese medicine containing herbal ingredients, most of which are cold-natured substances; therefore, prolonged use is not recommended.
Fule tablets are a commonly used medication for treating gynecological inflammations, primarily exerting effects of clearing heat, detoxifying, reducing swelling, and relieving pain. Women suffering from pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, or endometritis can take Fule tablets orally for treatment. During the course of taking Fule tablets, it is generally advised to avoid overly spicy or stimulating foods and beverages, as well as excessively cold-natured foods. It is recommended to take the tablets half an hour after meals, since Fule tablets may cause gastrointestinal discomfort in women with poor digestive function.
If, after taking Fule tablets for about three consecutive days to treat pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, or endometritis, there is no noticeable improvement in clinical symptoms—or if symptoms worsen—medication should be discontinued immediately. The patient should then visit a hospital for examination to determine whether other underlying conditions exist, and to decide whether continued use of the drug is appropriate or if alternative treatments are needed.
