Introduction
Gastric fullness and discomfort may be caused by long-term excessive alcohol consumption damaging the gastric mucosa, or by its effects on the central nervous system. It could also result from prolonged heavy physical or mental labor leading to insufficient blood supply to the gastrointestinal tract. Additionally, severe neurological dysfunction may significantly slow gastrointestinal emptying, causing a sensation of fullness and discomfort in the stomach.

Discomfort and bloating in the stomach may be caused by excessive alcohol consumption, overexertion, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, or other reasons.

1. Excessive Alcohol Consumption

This may result from long-term heavy drinking, in which large amounts of alcohol damage the gastric mucosa, leading to liver cirrhosis or chronic pancreatitis, thereby injuring the stomach. Additionally, excessive alcohol intake may affect the body's central nervous system. This condition may also be accompanied by abdominal pain.

2. Overexertion

This may occur due to prolonged engagement in heavy physical or mental labor, causing the body to remain in a state of fatigue. This can lead to insufficient blood supply to the gastrointestinal tract or excessive gastric acid secretion, resulting in damage to the gastric mucosa.

3. Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction

This may happen when a patient suffers from severe neurological imbalance, significantly slowing gastrointestinal emptying and causing a sensation of fullness and discomfort in the stomach.

In addition, such symptoms could also be caused by diabetes. Patients are advised to identify the underlying cause and undergo standardized treatment under the guidance of a physician.
