Introduction
After mole removal, it is not necessary to clean the wound every day, as wound cleaning is a broad concept that includes removing necrotic tissue, purulent secretions, and foreign materials from the wound site. Following routine mole removal, only a tiny wound surface is formed without significant injury, and there is no necrotic tissue or foreign material present; therefore, daily wound cleaning procedures are unnecessary.

It is not necessary to clean the wound every day after mole removal, as "wound cleaning" is a broad concept that includes removing necrotic tissue, purulent secretions, and foreign substances from the wound site. After routine mole removal, only a minor wound surface forms, without obvious wounds, necrotic tissue, or foreign bodies; therefore, daily wound-cleaning procedures are unnecessary.

However, the treated area should be cleaned and disinfected daily after mole removal. It is recommended to use a sterile cotton swab dipped in normal saline to gently clean the wound surface, removing any exudate, dust, or residual ointment. Afterwards, disinfect the area with povidone-iodine solution. Following these steps helps keep the treated area clean and dry, which helps prevent infection and promotes wound healing. When cleaning and disinfecting the wound, avoid rubbing the scab vigorously to prevent further injury.

For one week after mole removal, avoid getting the area wet and keep skincare products away from the wound. Pay attention to dietary control and avoid spicy or greasy foods in the short term.
