Introduction
Under normal circumstances, hair blocking the eyes does not affect vision, but it is not recommended to keep the eyes covered for prolonged periods. Vision problems are typically caused by untreated conditions such as congenital farsightedness or astigmatism, which can lead to amblyopia (lazy eye) or strabismus (crossed eyes). They may also result from eye strain due to prolonged use of electronic devices. While hair obstructing the line of sight may temporarily block vision, it does not cause actual damage to the eyes and therefore does not impair visual acuity.

Hair blocking the eyes generally does not affect vision, but it is not advisable to keep the eyes covered for prolonged periods.

Impaired vision is mainly caused by congenital farsightedness or astigmatism that has not been treated in time, leading to amblyopia or strabismus. It may also result from eye strain due to prolonged use of electronic devices. While hair blocking the line of sight does not cause actual physical damage to the eyes and therefore does not affect vision, long-term obstruction may allow bacteria from the hair to enter the eyes and trigger inflammatory reactions.

If hair is covering the eyes, it's recommended to trim the bangs, especially during childhood development. If any eye discomfort occurs, it's advised to seek timely medical evaluation with an eye examination at a hospital.
