Introduction
The mortality rate of vocal cord cancer varies depending on the severity of the patient's condition. If detected early, before lymph node metastasis occurs, and with prompt and effective treatment, the mortality rate is generally not high. However, if the disease is neglected during the initial stages and progresses to an advanced stage with lymph node metastasis, the mortality rate becomes significantly higher.

The mortality rate of vocal cord cancer varies depending on the severity of the patient's condition. For mild cases, the mortality rate is relatively low, but for severe cases, it is generally high.

1. Low

Vocal cord cancer is a relatively common type of laryngeal cancer. If detected early, before lymph node metastasis occurs, and treated promptly and effectively, the mortality rate is typically not high. With active radiotherapy and chemotherapy under medical guidance, the disease can be controlled, thereby significantly extending the patient's survival period.

2. High

If the condition is neglected during the early stages and progresses further, especially to an advanced stage with lymph node metastasis, the mortality rate becomes considerably higher.
