Introduction
Pancreatic leakage refers to pancreatic fistula, which can heal spontaneously within 3 to 6 months. Pancreatic fistula is a common complication after pancreatic surgery and may affect digestive and absorptive functions. Depending on individual patient conditions, the healing time varies. In mild cases with low-output fistulas, spontaneous recovery usually occurs within about 3 months. However, high-output fistulas take longer to heal, requiring approximately 6 months for recovery.

Pancreatic leakage generally refers to pancreatic fistula, which has a certain possibility of spontaneous healing after 3 to 6 months.

Pancreatic fistula is a relatively common complication following pancreatic surgery and can affect the patient's digestion and absorption functions, potentially leading to malnutrition. Most patients with pancreatic fistula may recover spontaneously, although healing time varies depending on individual conditions. In mild cases with low-output fistulas, spontaneous recovery usually occurs within about 3 months. However, high-output fistulas may take longer to heal, possibly requiring around 6 months for spontaneous resolution.

If the fistula has not healed after 6 months, active treatment under a doctor's guidance is necessary to avoid disease progression.
