Introduction
Generally, patients with half of their glomeruli sclerosed can survive for more than 3 to 6 months. Glomerulosclerosis primarily results from certain factors causing capillary loop proliferation or occlusion in the kidneys, leading to compression of the capillary loops and insufficient blood supply to the glomeruli, which triggers glomerulosclerosis. When half of the glomeruli have become sclerotic, it indicates that the condition has reached a relatively severe stage.

When half of the glomeruli have become sclerotic, survival time is generally more than 3 to 6 months.

Glomerulosclerosis primarily results from certain factors causing proliferation or occlusion of the capillary loops in the kidneys, leading to compression of these capillaries and insufficient blood supply to the glomeruli, thereby triggering glomerulosclerosis. When approximately half of the glomeruli are sclerotic, it indicates a relatively severe degree of sclerosis and complete impairment of kidney function. At this stage, dialysis treatment and techniques are required to control disease progression. Survival duration may be affected, with an estimated life expectancy of more than 3 to 6 months. However, the exact survival period depends on the disease's progression and how effectively it is managed later on.

During this period, adequate rest is essential. Patients should keep warm and avoid catching a cold, as this could negatively impact treatment outcomes. Physical overexertion should also be avoided. Diet-wise, patients can consume more glucose-rich foods to support body nourishment, while avoiding highly stimulating or spicy foods such as chili peppers, garlic, and onions.
