Introduction
It is not recommended to manage a pus-forming stye at home. If the infection is mild, ultra-short wave physical therapy may be performed to prevent worsening of the condition. When significant pain and swelling occur in the eyelid area, surgical drainage should be conducted to facilitate resolution of the abscess. After surgery, medications such as levofloxacin eye drops, tobramycin eye drops, or chlortetracycline eye ointment can be used to reduce inflammation.

After a stye has formed pus, it is not recommended to manage it at home. Timely medical consultation is advised for appropriate treatments under a doctor's guidance, including physical therapy, surgical intervention, and medication.

1. Physical Therapy

If the pus formation in the stye is not severe, ultrashort wave physical therapy may be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician to promote abscess maturation or accelerate the absorption of infiltration and induration, thus preventing worsening of the condition.

2. Surgical Treatment

If there is significant pain and swelling in the eyelid area, surgical drainage may be recommended by a physician to drain the pus, reduce the abscess, and relieve local pain.

3. Medication

After surgical treatment, antibiotics may be used as directed by a physician to control inflammation. Commonly used medications include levofloxacin eye drops, tobramycin eye drops, and chlortetracycline eye ointment.

In addition, it is important to maintain good eye hygiene to prevent infection.
