Introduction
In general, tightness around a wound is normal and indicates that the wound is healing quickly. After an episiotomy during vaginal delivery, women typically feel very weak physically. Since the vagina is a highly sensitive area, even minor disturbances can cause significant tension; particularly during wound healing, a sensation of tightness is common and a normal sign, so there's no need to worry excessively.

Normally, women's bodies become very weak after an episiotomy during vaginal delivery. The vagina is a highly sensitive area, and even minor influences can cause a sensation of tightness. Especially during wound healing, an unusual feeling of tightness is common and a normal sign—there's no need to worry excessively.

Therefore, after an episiotomy, pregnant women are advised to follow their doctor's instructions for proper care, ensure adequate nutrition to support recovery, such as consuming eggs and donkey-hide gelatin (ejiao). Avoid spicy and stimulating foods; maintain a light diet and consume more fruits and vegetables. Avoid excessive physical activity, focus on recuperation, and seek prompt medical evaluation and treatment if any unexpected issues arise.
