What is hydrogen peroxide cream?
Hydrogen peroxide cream is a dye developer used in hair coloring.
The main ingredient, hydrogen peroxide, is a stable compound used to remove secondary pigments and develop color, making it essential for adjusting hair tone. It opens the hair cuticles to allow dye to penetrate into the cortex, where it breaks down melanin pigment cells and reduces natural pigmentation, allowing the new dye color to replace the original pigment, thus achieving the desired hair coloring effect. You can first apply the hydrogen peroxide cream evenly onto the hair, then apply your chosen hair color. After about 30 minutes, the desired coloring result should be achieved.
Pregnant women, children, elderly individuals, and cancer patients should not use this product. Even healthy individuals should avoid excessive use, as it may negatively affect health. People with sensitive or allergy-prone skin should perform a patch test by applying a small amount to the scalp and hair and waiting 24 hours to check for adverse reactions. When using hydrogen peroxide cream and hair dye, strictly follow the dosage instructions provided; otherwise, the desired results may not be achieved. After dyeing, avoid washing your hair for at least two days, as the dye requires time to fully set and stabilize.
