Introduction
The first day after a fresh embryo transfer is generally too early for implantation to occur. A fresh embryo transfer refers to the process in which eggs are retrieved and fertilized with sperm in vitro, forming an early embryo within three days, followed by direct transfer of the embryo during the same menstrual cycle. Typically, no signs of implantation appear on the first day after the transfer. Implantation usually begins around 5 to 6 days after fertilization, when the embryo starts attaching to the uterine lining.

Implantation typically does not occur on the first day after fresh embryo transfer.

Fresh embryo transfer mainly refers to the process in which, within three days after egg retrieval in in vitro fertilization (IVF), oocytes are fertilized with sperm outside the body to form early-stage embryos, which are then transferred directly during the same menstrual cycle. Generally, there will be no signs of implantation on the first day after fresh embryo transfer. The fertilized egg usually begins to implant around 5–6 days after development. Candidates for fresh embryo transfer generally include those without high-risk factors for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), with good endometrial conditions, and without elevated progesterone levels.

Individuals undergoing fresh embryo transfer should pay close attention to dietary care. It is advisable to consume warm-natured foods appropriately and increase nutritional intake, including plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits such as tomatoes and apples, to promote recovery. Maintaining a positive and relaxed mood is also important, as stress or anxiety may negatively affect implantation. If abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding occurs after the transfer, medical attention should be sought promptly to identify the causes of bleeding and discomfort, preventing potential adverse effects on health.
