Introduction
Bilateral salivary glands and cervical lymph nodes are commonly associated with lymphoma. Enlargement of the bilateral salivary glands and cervical lymph nodes is mostly caused by inflammation and infection, such as bacterial, viral, or tuberculosis infections, manifesting as redness, swelling, and pain in the salivary glands and lymph nodes. However, the above symptoms may also be caused by metastasis of malignant tumors, which generally falls under lymphoma.

The involvement of bilateral salivary glands and cervical lymph nodes is usually a finding observed during imaging examinations. In most cases, it results from inflammation or infection caused by bacteria, viruses, or tuberculosis, manifesting as redness, swelling, and pain in the salivary glands and lymph nodes. Severe cases may also present with systemic symptoms such as fever and general weakness. However, the above manifestations could also be caused by metastatic malignant tumors, which typically fall under lymphoma diseases.

When such conditions occur, patients are advised to undergo appropriate diagnostic evaluations under medical guidance to determine the underlying cause, followed by standardized treatment for improvement.
