Introduction
The standard shoulder width should be 1/4 of a person's height. Therefore, for someone who is 160 cm tall, the shoulders may appear relatively broad. However, if no other abnormal symptoms are present, this is considered a normal physiological phenomenon and does not require excessive concern. For individuals taller than 180 cm, a shoulder width of 47 cm is generally not considered wide and falls within the range of a proportionate, standard build.

Whether a shoulder width of 47 cm is considered broad generally depends on the individual's height.

1. Broad

Shoulder width usually refers to the straight-line distance between the left and right acromion points. Normally, shoulder width should be about one-quarter of a person's height. Therefore, for someone with a height of 160 cm, a shoulder width of 47 cm would be relatively broad. However, if no other abnormal symptoms are present, this is still within the range of normal physiological variation and does not require excessive concern.

2. Not Broad

If an individual's height is over 180 cm, a shoulder width of 47 cm is generally not considered broad and falls within the range of a proportionate, standard build.

It is recommended to perform appropriate shoulder exercises in daily life, such as arm adduction movements, to help improve shoulder function.
