Introduction
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy usually involves less trauma and allows for quicker recovery. If recovery progresses normally, light physical activities can generally be resumed after about one week; cooking is typically feasible around 10 days after surgery. However, for individuals with poor physical condition and slower postoperative recovery, cooking is generally not recommended at 10 days post-surgery if their body's tolerance is still low, to prevent potential complications.

Whether cooking is possible 10 days after minimally invasive cholecystectomy generally depends on the individual's postoperative recovery.

1. Possible

Minimally invasive cholecystectomy usually involves minimal trauma and a relatively quick recovery. Typically, patients are discharged about two days after surgery. If recovery progresses normally, light physical activities such as cooking may be resumed around seven days post-surgery.

2. Not recommended

If the patient has poor physical condition and a slower recovery process, cooking may not be advisable even 10 days after surgery, especially if the body is still weak. Performing physical tasks could lead to complications.

After gastrointestinal or gallbladder surgery, patients are advised to maintain a light diet and avoid oily, fried, and spicy foods to prevent adverse effects on wound healing.
