Is it normal to have yellow discharge 20 days after an abortion?

Induced abortion usually refers to artificial termination of pregnancy. Discharge of yellow fluid 20 days after an induced abortion is generally abnormal and may be caused by cervical injury, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, or other reasons.

When such symptoms occur, it is recommended to promptly undergo relevant medical examinations under a doctor's guidance to identify the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment—such as using medications like metronidazole tablets, tinidazole tablets, or ceftriaxone sodium for injection to eliminate infection. Meanwhile, maintaining good local hygiene in daily life and frequently changing underwear are important measures to prevent further complications.
