手腕有动脉血管吗
The wrist contains arteries.
The arteries in the wrist primarily refer to the ulnar artery and radial artery. These two arteries form an arterial arch in the palm, mainly responsible for supplying blood to the fingers and promoting hand circulation. In traditional Chinese medicine, pulse diagnosis is typically performed by palpating the radial artery. If the wrist suffers severe trauma with heavy bleeding, prompt medical attention is necessary. A doctor should evaluate the specific condition; if both arteries are severed or blocked, the wrist may lose its blood supply, leading to ischemia. Without timely treatment, this can even result in tissue necrosis.
In addition, blood vessels tend to gradually age with advancing age. Therefore, it's important to regularly consume fruits and vegetables rich in dietary fiber and vitamin C—such as apples and spinach—to help maintain vascular elasticity.
