Introduction
After consuming duck blood, it is generally recommended to wait 3–5 days before testing for fecal occult blood in routine stool examination, to avoid inaccurate results due to early testing. A positive occult blood test in routine stool analysis usually indicates the presence of hidden blood in the stool, which may be associated with conditions such as duodenal ulcer. Medication treatment can be followed according to a doctor's advice. In addition, a positive fecal occult blood test may also be related to other diseases such as gastric tumors or liver cirrhosis.
