Introduction
Cervical screening primarily refers to screening for cervical cancer. Currently, commonly used methods include cervical TCT testing and HPV testing. These tests should be performed at a正规 hospital. The procedure may cause minor mucosal injury to the cervix; therefore, sexual intercourse should be avoided afterward to prevent bacteria from entering the female body and causing gynecological inflammation, which could impair recovery.

Cervical screening primarily refers to screening for cervical cancer. Currently, the commonly used methods are cervical TCT (thinprep cytologic test) and HPV testing. The examination should be performed at a正规 hospital. Taking the cervical TCT test as an example, the specific procedure is as follows:

1. After entering the operating room, the patient lies on the examination table in the lithotomy position with legs spread apart to fully expose the genital area. The doctor performs routine disinfection of the external genitalia.

2. The doctor inserts a vaginal speculum to open the vagina and expose the cervix, then uses a sterile swab to clean away excess secretions from the cervix.

3. The sampling brush is inserted into the cervical canal and rotated approximately 3–4 times to collect exfoliated cells, which are then placed into a specimen vial and sent to the laboratory for analysis.

The examination may cause minor mucosal injury to the cervix. Sexual intercourse should be avoided afterward to prevent bacteria from entering the female reproductive tract and causing gynecological inflammation, which could impair recovery.
