Symptoms of oxygen sensor poisoning
An oxygen sensor is a device used to detect oxygen concentration. If an oxygen sensor is damaged or improperly used, it may lead to oxygen sensor poisoning, causing a series of symptoms such as fatigue and weakness, headache, nausea, and vomiting, which generally require prompt treatment.
1. Fatigue and Weakness
Prolonged exposure to a high-concentration oxygen environment causes the body to inhale excessive oxygen, leading to elevated blood oxygen levels and resulting in toxic reactions, including symptoms like fatigue and weakness.
2. Headache
Oxygen sensor poisoning can cause the body to inhale too much oxygen, triggering toxic reactions such as headaches. These symptoms primarily arise due to multiple factors, including blood vessel dilation, nervous system damage, and disturbances in oxygen metabolism. If symptoms such as headache occur, exposure to high-concentration oxygen environments should be stopped immediately.
3. Nausea and Vomiting
Oxygen sensor poisoning disrupts the body's oxygen metabolism, affecting energy metabolism and cellular functions, thereby leading to symptoms such as nausea and vomiting.
In addition, symptoms may also include palpitations and arrhythmia. If any of the above symptoms occur, use of the oxygen sensor should be stopped immediately, and the affected individual should be taken to a hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
