Introduction
People with Rh-positive blood type are usually more numerous. In China, Rh-positive individuals account for approximately 99.7% of the population and represent the more common blood type. The Rh factor is divided into positive and negative types, with Rh-positive being the more prevalent. Additionally, before receiving a blood transfusion, individuals with Rh-positive blood must undergo testing to ensure blood type compatibility prior to blood transfusion.

RH-positive blood type is generally quite common.

Human blood types are classified into two systems: the ABO system and the RH system. The RH blood type is divided into positive and negative, making it a relatively unique blood group system. When the D antigen is present in the red blood cells, the individual is classified as RH-positive. In China, RH-positive individuals account for approximately 99.7% of the population, making it the most common blood type. RH factor is categorized into positive and negative types; the positive type is common, while the negative type is rare and often referred to as "Panda Blood." Generally, blood transfusions between RH-positive and RH-negative individuals are not possible, as they may lead to hemolytic reactions that can harm health. The RH blood group system was named after scientists discovered an immune serum from animals that could cause agglutination with human red blood cells and also react with red blood cells of rhesus monkeys, proving the presence of common antigenic sites between rhesus monkey and human red blood cells. Hence, this system was named the RH blood group system.

In addition, individuals with RH-positive blood must undergo blood testing before receiving a transfusion to ensure blood type compatibility prior to blood administration.
