If symptoms persist or worsen, immediate medical attention is recommended.

Fever generally refers to an elevated body temperature.发热 after a lactation massage may be caused by physical stress response, infection, allergic reaction, trauma or overstimulation, underlying medical conditions, and can be managed through lifestyle adjustments or medication.

1. Physical Stress Response: Massage may trigger a stress response in the body, such as excitement, tension, or heightened arousal. This stress response can lead to a temporary rise in body temperature, causing fever-like symptoms. This usually does not require excessive concern.

2. Infection: During breast massage, if the lactation consultant's hands or tools are unclean, or if bacteria are introduced during the procedure, it may lead to infection. An infection can cause inflammatory reactions in breast tissue, resulting in fever.

3. Allergic Reaction: If the patient is allergic to certain ingredients in massage oils, breast creams, or other products applied to the breasts, an allergic reaction may occur. This can trigger inflammation and fever.

4. Trauma or Overstimulation: If the lactation consultant applies excessive pressure or handles the area too roughly during massage, it may cause trauma or overstimulation of breast tissue, leading to inflammation and subsequent fever.

5. Underlying Medical Conditions: Some individuals may have pre-existing conditions such as immune-related disorders, autoimmune diseases, or chronic inflammatory conditions. These conditions may predispose them to immune or inflammatory responses, including fever. Medical evaluation and treatment for the underlying condition are necessary.

After experiencing any of these symptoms, patients should ensure adequate rest and increased fluid intake. They may also take antipyretic medications such as ibuprofen tablets or cefixime granules under a doctor’s guidance. If symptoms persist or worsen, prompt medical attention is recommended.
