Introduction
When jugular venous distention is present, the venous pulsations are more pronounced and may produce明显 visible waves that can be felt upon palpation. In healthy individuals, the jugular veins are not readily visible; slight filling may be observed when lying flat. However, in patients with jugular venous distention, the jugular veins appear excessively filled when sitting or in a semi-recumbent position, appearing fuller and visibly protruding outward.

Under normal circumstances, the manifestations of jugular venous distension include enhanced carotid pulsation and明显颈动脉充盈. It is recommended to seek timely medical attention and receive appropriate treatment. Specific analysis is as follows:

1. Enhanced Carotid Pulsation

In healthy individuals, jugular venous pulsations are relatively gentle and do not produce a palpable wave when pressed. However, in cases of jugular venous distension, the venous pulsations are more pronounced and may be clearly felt upon palpation.

2. Marked Jugular Venous Fullness

In healthy individuals, the jugular veins are not visibly prominent. When lying flat, slight filling may occur, but it is limited to the area from the upper border of the clavicle to the lower two-thirds of the jaw angle. In patients with jugular venous distension, the neck veins appear excessively filled even when sitting or in a semi-recumbent position. The veins appear fuller and visibly protrude outward.

Under a doctor's guidance, diuretics can be used to reduce cardiac load. Commonly used medications include furosemide tablets, torasemide tablets, and spironolactone tablets.
