1. Mammary Gland Hyperplasia
This is one of the more common benign breast lesions. The exact cause remains unclear. Breast pain is often the initial symptom, accompanied by breast nodules or lumps. A small number of patients may also experience nipple discharge. If there are no significant discomforts, special treatment is generally not recommended. However, under medical guidance, traditional Chinese medicine tablets such as Rupixiao tablets, Sanjieling, or Lukang tablets may be taken for regulation. In some cases, surgical removal of the lump may be necessary for treatment.
2. Mastitis
This is an inflammatory condition of the breast and can be classified into lactational and non-lactational types. It can cause symptoms such as breast pain, redness, swelling, and fever. In advanced stages, it may lead to the formation of a breast abscess. Under medical supervision, appropriate antibiotic therapy may be used, such as sodium oxacillin for injection, cefdinir dispersible tablets, or metronidazole tablets.
3. Breast Fibroadenoma
This is a benign tumor resulting from mixed hyperplasia of breast epithelial and connective tissues. It can cause breast lumps, and a minority of patients may experience dull pain or distension during the menstrual cycle. For patients with slow-growing or stable tumors, regular follow-up observation is usually recommended. Surgery may be required when necessary.
