Introduction

1. The patient lies supine on the examination table, with the buttocks near the edge of the bed and legs placed in stirrups to maximally expose the perineum.
2. The external genitalia and vagina are disinfected using medical alcohol or iodophor, and a sterile drape with a central opening is placed.
3. A speculum is used to fully expose the cervix, and the curette is inserted into the uterine cavity.
4. A probe is used to measure the depth of the uterine cavity, and under ultrasound monitoring, the endometrial lining is gently scraped.
5. Scraping is stopped once a rough sensation is felt on the uterine wall, completing the procedure.
